Welcome to my new blog! Here I will show you some of the many plants I offer at my nursery, Hidden Meadow Farm. We are located near Adrian, Mo, and I have a wide selection of perennials and some ornamental trees. Summer and Fall have gone, Thanksgiving is over and we are looking forward to Christmas. Summer sales were disappointing due to some unforseen circumstances in my personal life. But in I’m already thumbing through catalogues and dreaming of Spring. What plants must I have for the coming Spring? What is the newest treasure that has been introduced to tempt me? How many vegetables can I plant and grow for a summer’s harvest? Some of these are daydreams and some are some serious planning for the next growing season. All suggestions are welcome!
I’m trying something new this year. I’ve using some plastic grow bags that are lighter and help the plant develop a longer root system. These bags when emptied can be folded up for easy storage or they can be recycled. Let me know how you like them as opposed to the plastic pots.
